In the last post I talked about my top sport related books that can help us perform better in business and in life. Well I fully understand that probably haven’t got the time to read books and might not even enjoy reading, so today I just wanted to point you towards Audiobooks.
Or if you already listen to them then I want to remind you to keep topping up your Audio library with books like I mentioned.
I’m personally not a great fan of reading due to my lack of patience. I just want to extract the info, learn from it and move on. I know that this is painful for writers to hear but that’s just me.
So when Audiobooks came out I was over the moon. I think I was one of the first people to join Amazon’s Audible and started listening right away.
If - like me - you are commuting in the car for hours per day and want to travel light, and complete books in less than 10 hours with little effort, then Audiobooks are for you.
The ones I spoke about in the last post (Leading, Can’t Hurt Me and Total Recall) are all available on Audible here - https://www.audible.co.uk/
Not only is Audible good for learning quickly but it pretty much forces you to get a new book each month because it is a monthly subscription that gives you credits each month.
Don’t worry, I am not an affiliate of Audible, I am just a fan of it and I understand just how much it has helped me so much over the years.
So my leaving thought is that whilst we are competing in this fast world, we may as well speed up our learning and thought-provoking pastimes as well.
